Spring showstoppers

Yes, everything got cancelled last month. But as if on cue, nature put on an even more spectacular spring show than usual.

Redbuds and tulips exploded. Whole fields looked like they’d been painted violet by Monet. The biggest moon of the year drifted overhead.

All you had to do was step outside and look (observing proper social distancing, of course). In case you missed any of it, here are images by veteran photojournalist  Fernando Salazar.
