The Walking Wednesday Series is underway, offering a chance to enjoy the outside at a relaxed pace.
Sponsored by Bike Walk Wichita, the walks take place in parks and urban locations, highlighting the green spaces, history and vitality of the city.
Walks are free to all and open to all abilities. After the walk, participants are invited to stay for a chat.
All walks start at 6 p.m. except as noted. Here’s the remaining schedule:
May 5: Delano, starting with a tour of the new Riverfront Stadium.
May 12: Union Station Farmers’ Market. Come at 5:30 p.m. if you want to visit the market first.
May 19: Bradley Fair
May 26: Old Town Art
