“These are my favorite pizza toppings, but with pasta instead of a crust,” Hulbert said. “Easy!”

Pizza Pasta
½ box penne pasta
1 onion, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
1 tablespoon olive oil
½ lb. Italian sausage
½ jar marinara sauce
1 can mushroom pieces
1 small can chopped black olives
1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
Directions:
Cook pasta according to directions. Drain in a strainer.
In the same pot, saute onion and 1 bell pepper in a tablespoon of olive oil. Move to the edge of the pot and brown sausage.
Add marinara sauce (freeze remainder for next time), black olives and mushroom pieces. Top with parmesan cheese and serve.
