Free stuff to do in coming days

OJ Watson Park will be the site of a free family fun day this Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sponsored by Stop Suicide ICT, aa community collaborative, the event will feature rides and games, face painting, balloon animals, resources a more.
Also Sunday, a free 45-minute Zoom webinar titled “Dementia and how not to get it” will be presented by Kathy Adkins, a RN and dementia care specialist. To receive an invite, email dementianursekansas@gmail.com.
Next week, the Wichita Parks & Recreation Department will offer two free classes thanks to a grant from the Central Plains Area Agency on Aging. Acrylic Painting will be held 10:30-11:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 13 at OJ Watson Park.
