Congrats to the winners of our drawing for Riverfest buttons: Sue Erwin, Deb Phillips, Cynthia Rhodes and Janice Massucci. Each of these Active Age readers receives a pair of Riverfest buttons. They qualified for the drawing by correctly answering the question: Who is the only two-time Admiral Windwagon Smith?
The answer is Clay Bastian (we also accepted “Admiral Bastian”). The retired banker and longtime Riverfest volunteer was named the festival’s admiral or official ambassador in 2020 — when all events were cancelled — and again this year. The second half of the festival kicks off today and runs through Sunday, so even if you didn’t win a button, go enjoy!
