Wyatt Sheeder has been hired as executive director of Senior Services, Inc., of Wichita.
Sheeder replaces Laurel Alike, who retired in June after more than 20 years in that role. Sheeder is a member of the Senior Services board of directors and currently works as executive director of the Wichita Cancer Foundation.
“Wyatt brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his new role,” reads a news release from Senior Services.
The nonprofit organization operates four senior centers in Wichita — Downtown, Linwood, Orchard Park and Northeast — the Meals on Wheels program and a senior employment program.
Sheeder will start his new job Nov. 3.
