Woman, 80, charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter and driving under the influence

 The Sedgwick County District Attorney’s office has made a charging decision in the case of Clowie McLaughlin, 80, driver involved in a fatal injury wreck on Aug. 30. 

According to a news release, McLaughlin is charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter while driving under the influence, severity level 4 person felonies, in the deaths of LaShea Bell and A’Niah Bell. 

The crash occurred at the intersection of Central and Webb, where McLaughlin’s vehicle allegedly struck the victims’ car. 

McLaughlin previously posted a $100,000.00 bond to appear on Sept. 15.
